A PATENT ARISING FROM ZODIAC TECHNOLOGY
French-made and backed by experience acquired since 1982, Zodiac Original regularly stands out for the quality and audacity of its innovations, thus putting technology at the service of leisure. An emblematic figure in our swimming pool range, Zodiac Original swimming pools are designed from a flexible material and have no metal structure. Their installation requires no tools. Zodiac Original pool technology is based on the balance between the different pressures (air and water, patent pending). Air and water are trapped in a flexible wall which becomes rounded under their pressure and guarantees the hold of the pool (except for the Hippo range). The flange of a Zodiac Original swimming pool, thanks to its unique water circulation system, acts as a heat exchanger. The sun heats the sausage, the air trapped in the sausage then rises in temperature and heats the water contained in the sausage. This heated water is then pushed back into the basin. As a result, we observe a much faster and much higher increase in water temperature on average, up to 2.5° more than in any other unheated pool.

The fabrics selected for the manufacture of Zodiac Original pools are high-tech, highly durable materials that have proven themselves in other applications such as the world of inflatable boats: The famous ZODIAC boat!
Zodiac Original has developed Dynalon, a material consisting of a dense polyester textile support, caught between a double internal and external coating, whose double thread reinforcement pushes the limits of resistance to tearing, abrasion and climatic aggressions.
AN EXCLUSIVE PROCESS
Derived from aeronautical techniques, thermobandage is a robotized industrial process for hot assembly of flexible composite materials. This process is a guarantee of the constant quality of the assemblies and their solidity. Thermobandage is used for assembling the fabric panels of Zodiac Original pools.
ORIGINAL ZODIAC QUALITY
The fabrics and assemblies are subject to multiple controls intended to guarantee their tightness and their resistance to delamination, abrasion and UV. The pools are subjected in the factory to series of tests exceeding normal conditions of use, in order to guarantee their solidity and their resistance to pressure and shocks.
